About Vikas Group of Institutions
Vikas Group of Institutions, established in 2010, is a self-financing integrated educational institution, dedicated to excellence in Engineering, Pharmacy, and Management education. It is governed by the Mother Theresa Educational Society, with a vision of empowering its students to demonstrate strong academic potential.
Nestled in a serene valley and surrounded by lush green landscapes and sprawling mango orchards, the campus provides an ideal environment for learning and personal growth.
The group offers a wide range of undergraduate programs in Engineering, including Civil, EEE, Mechanical, ECE, CSE, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), Data Science (DS), Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS), CSE – IoT & Cyber Security (including Blockchain Technology), and Agricultural Engineering, along with B.Pharmacy.
For postgraduate students, Vikas Group of Institutions offers M.Tech programs in CSE, CSE–Data Science, CSE–AI & ML, VLSID, Structural Engineering, and Thermal Engineering, as well as M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmacy Practice, and a full-time MBA program.

Diploma Programs
The Diploma in Polytechnic at Vikas College of Engineering and Technology is a post-10th-grade program offering an accelerated entry into engineering. It provides specialized knowledge in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Computer Engineering, combining practical skills with theoretical learning through subjects like Engineering Mathematics, Applied Sciences, and discipline-specific modules.
Courses Offered
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Vikas Group of Institutions was formed with the primary objective of providing world class education in the field of Information Technology. One of the first departments in the state to offer a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Right from its inception, the Department has been offering excellent infrastructural facilities with a variety of computing platforms to aspiring professional students to meet the burgeoning demands of the IT industry.
Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE)
The B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) at Vikas College offers a comprehensive education in one of the most dynamic and rapidly advancing fields. This program is meticulously designed to provide students with a profound understanding of both foundational and advanced concepts in AI&ML, rooted in the core principles of computer science engineering.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Vikas Group of Institutions was established in the year 2010 to start a 4-year B.Tech degree programme(with an annual in-take of 120 students) affiliated to the jntuk University. The first batch of students graduated from the department in the year 2014. A post graduate programme leading to M.Tech. degree in ‘VLSI’ & ‘DECS’ was introduced in the year 2012.
Civil Engineering
Civil engineering includes the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of large and permanent engineering projects of our civilization. Civil engineers are in demand wherever there are people. The major subdivisions of civil engineering are structural, geotechnical, environmental, sanitary, water resources, and transportation engineering.
Mechanical Engineering
Department of mechanical engineering has established in the year 2009. Department of mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branches’ of engineering. Department has well equipped laboratories, Workshops and other infrastructure facilities. Students of mechanical engineering are exposed to the latest topics in the area of design, thermal , manufacturing, material science , materials engineering etc.
Agricultural Engineering
In the process of “Grow More Food Programme” and “Green Revolutions”, more importance was given to the Agricultural Engineering activities for increasing the agricultural production. With this objective, the Agricultural Engineering wing formed in 2014 as a new Department.
Pharmacy
Among the many electives and streams offered by science, pharmacy is one of the most preferred ones. Science students who are interested in becoming a pharmacist choose this stream and seek admission in Pharmacy Colleges. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The two-year full-time residential programme is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario. It lasts six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer project intermediary. PGP is one of the most highly placed programmes in global rankings and is currently ranked 31st in the Financial Times ranking -2022.
Polytechnic
Polytechnic is a diploma or vocational course in which an institute focuses on delivering technical education. Generally, polytechnic courses are a three year programme after completion of which candidates obtain a certificate. Polytechnic also helps students to start their career by getting a good job at a reputed company. Most of the institutes offers polytechnic diploma in civil, mechanical, electrical, and newly emerging branches.
About ICETEPLS - 2025
The International Conference on Emerging Technologies in Engineering, Pharmacy, and Life Sciences (ICETEPLS-2025) is a premier academic initiative aimed at bringing together leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals from diverse disciplines to explore and share cutting-edge advancements in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science and allied branches, Agriculture, Basic Sciences, Pharmacy and Management.
Being conducted for the first time, ICETEPLS-2025 is a landmark effort by Vikas Group of Institutions, driven by its increasing focus on Research and Development. Recognizing the importance of academic innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, the institution has taken this initiative to create a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and impactful research dissemination.
All accepted and presented papers at ICETEPLS-2025 will be published and subsequently indexed by Scopus, Bentham Science, and Web of Science, ensuring global visibility and recognition for the research contributions.
ICETEPLS-2025 aims to serve as a dynamic forum where participants can showcase pioneering research, discuss transformative ideas, and contribute meaningfully to the technological advancements shaping sustainable development and societal progress.
